Pumpkin Smoothie Recipe

It's National Pumpkin Day! You've already been digging into pumpkin muffins, cheesecake, soup and pasta - now let's kick off your day with a taste of fall.

Try this smoothie for breakfast, or even just to satisfy that afternoon sweet tooth.

Pumpkin Smoothies
Serves 2-3

Ingredients

1/2 cup canned pumpkin
3/4 cup soy milk, soy yogurt, or Greek yogurt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. brown sugar
4 ice cubes
Low fat Whipped cream

Preparation

1. Combine ingredients in blender and puree until smooth.

2. Pour the smoothies into small glasses (this drink is rich).

3. Garnish each with a small amount of whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
