Snow Delicious! Mini Donut Snowmen Make the Perfect Party Treat

Almost too cute to eat!
Almost too cute to eat!

I grew up in a cooler part of the country, where snow was common. I loved to play outdoors in the winter and do all sorts of activities - including building snowmen! Now that I live in a warmer area with my own family, it's nice for my daughter to have a fun treat where she can make her own little edible snowmen. If your family likes miniature powdered sugar donuts, then they'll love these holiday snowmen!

Ingredients

Mini powdered sugar doughnuts
Tube of chocolate frosting or glaze
Tube of white frosting
Chocolate chips
Candy corn

Directions

1. For each mini doughnut, pipe dots of chocolate frosting to make little bits of "coal" for the mouth.

2. Place two dots of chocolate frosting and place the chocolate chip "eyes" on the frosting.

3. Fill the donut hole with a half-teaspoon or so of white frosting.

4. Place the candy corn "carrot" in the white frosting for the nose, as shown.

5. Be sure to make several, since everyone will want one (or more)! Happy holidays!
