Family dinner night has never tasted so good! These cheesy calzones are delicious and fun to make with the whole family. Use store-bought pizza dough for a simple dinner prep.

Ingredients:
1 store-bought or homemade pizza dough
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, for dusting
1/2 cup marinara sauce

1 cup fresh baby spinach
1 egg
1 tablespoon water

Directions:

1.Preheat oven to 500°F. Dust a clean work surface with 1/4 cup flour. Place the dough in the flour and coat all sides. With a rolling pin, roll the dough out into a 12-15 inch circle. Dust a baking stone or baking pan with the remaining flour and transfer the dough onto the floured baking stone.

2. Spoon marinara sauce evenly over one half of the dough, leaving a 1-inch boarder. Top the sauce with an even layer of cheese and spinach.

3. In a bowl, beat the egg and water together creating a wash. Using a pastry brush, brush the boarder of the dough lightly with the egg wash. Fold the dough over on top of the sauced dough and pinch the edges together with your fingers - sealing the edges. Brush the top of the dough lightly with egg wash. Using a knife, cut two small slits in the top to vent.

4. Place in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
