Supply List:

Printer & printer paper

Scissors

Pencil

Plain white or light colored mug

Scotch tape

Sharpie oil-based paint pens in red and yellow

How To:

Print out a Superman logo with the first letter of your dad's name. Check out the link for the Superman font here: http://www.dafont.com/pauls-super-font.font. Cut the letter out and color the backside of the paper with a pencil making sure to press firmly. When the back of the letter is completely colored, carefully position the penciled side onto your clean, dry mug and use tape to hold it in place. Trace the logo using the pencil. Remove the paper and see your magically transferred design! If you're happy with how it looks, use your Sharpie paint pens to color your SuperDad logo. Let your paint dry overnight: this will help it to set and not get runny in the oven!

After the paint has dried overnight, place your mug in a cool oven. Turn the temperature to 350 degrees and let the mug heat up with the oven (if you skip this step, the mug may crack). Once the oven has reached the desired temperature (this usually takes about 15 minutes), set a timer for 30 minutes and let your mug bake. When the mug is finished baking, turn the oven off and crack the door to let the mug cool down in the oven. Once cool, you're all ready to pour your new mug full of your dad's favorite beverage and give it to him for Father's Day!
