Directions

1. Bake gingerbread men cookies according to your favorite recipe. Allow them to cool. In the meantime, prepare piping bags of frosting. Spoon some white frosting into a bowl and add red gel food color until it is bright red. Spoon the red frosting into a reclosable plastic food bag and snip off one corner. Spoon white frosting into a second bag and chocolate frosting into a third bag. Snip off the ends and twist the opening closed to make frosting piping bags.

2. For the zombie faces make the mouths gape open in a frown. A few things to try for the eyes:

Make the eyes uneven in size.

Make one eye an "X"

Layer red, then white, then chocolate frosting and make one eyeball droop

Add dark chocolate circles under the eyes
