Easy Slow-Cooker Chicken
Easy Slow-Cooker Chicken

No time? No problem! This slow-cooker chicken recipe is perfect for your busy life. Cooking is one of my weaknesses. Quite honestly, I am not great at it which is why I am very qualified to testify as to the ease of this recipe. The bonus is that it is one of my family's favorite things to eat. I throw the ingredients together in the morning and by evening our dinner has been cooked to perfection in the slow cooker. This recipe makes me feel like a chef!

Easy Two Minute {Slow Cooker} Chicken

Ingredients:
16 oz. Prepared Salsa
3 Large Chicken Breasts
Water or Chicken Stock

Helpful Tip: When choosing a salsa, I prefer the fresh that can be found refrigerated in the grocery store produce section. Since the salsa maintains its spicy heat, I use mild or medium. Some salsas tend to be a little salty, if that is the case, use water or unsalted chicken stock.

Variations: The chicken is perfect as a breast covered with salsa served with rice. It can be shredded and used as taco filling or as the basis for nacho toppings.

Directions:
1. Place the chicken breasts in slow cooker.

2. Open a container of salsa.

3. Pour the salsa on the chicken.

4. Add water or chicken stock to slow cooker so that it covers the bottom and sides of the chicken. Close Crockpot

5. Close the slow cooker and set on low for 6-8 hours.
