Boyer, host of Yahoo's Daytime in No time," is a step mom to two children. She's definitely questioned some of the statements she's made to her kids. "I think one thing I never thought I'd hear myself say, really in my life, because they're not my biological kids so I didn't have that training session, but I never thought I would say, 'Who didn't flush the toilet?' And then I make them come back in, and I make them stand there, and look in the toilet. And as I'm doing it I'm like, "This is not okay!"

Maizes is a comedienne and author of "Got Milf?: The Modern Mom's Guide to Feeling Fabulous, Looking Great and Rocking a Minivan." The mom of three says when she's with other moms, she feels very comfortable having these kid-centric toilet talk discussions. "You only become very aware of it when you're with your friends who don't have kids," she said.

But nothing can humiliate a mom more than an embarrassing moment in public with the kids. Modisett, creator and producer of "Afterbith: Stories, You Won't Read in a Parenting Magazine," says her kids will repeat things she's said in the privacy of their home. "You know, 'But Mommy, you hate Sandra. Why are you sitting next to her at this school function?' Oh, I don't know, maybe don't say that, maybe? Maybe let's pretend I like Sandra, because she's sitting right here."
