A bit deceptive, but totally delicious!
A bit deceptive, but totally delicious!

Use up your holiday leftovers with this clever idea. You can make these cute "cups" of "hot cocoa" with an extra-large marshmallow, candy cane, melted chocolate and marshmallow bits. They may look too cute to eat, but they sure are delicious!

Ingredients

Extra-large marshmallows
Small candy canes
Chocolate candy melts or chocolate chips
Marshmallow bits (like Jet Puffed® Mallow Bits)

Directions

1. Break off the hook of the candy canes. It doesn't matter if the break isn't even or smooth, since it will be inserted into marshmallow.

2. Then, stick the hook of the candy cane into the side of the marshmallow for the cup handle.

3. Next, melt the candy melts or chocolate chips in the microwave, checking and stirring every 10 to 15 seconds.

4. Spread a nice circle of chocolate on the top of the marshmallow, using a knife or teaspoon, making sure to leave a "rim" for the cup.

5. Finish off by placing a few tiny marshmallows bits on the melted chocolate.

6. Enjoy your miniature marshmallow cups of hot chocolate!
