Florence Welch: from "grungy kid" to style icon

Florence Welch dreamt of coming to "Lolla" back when she was a self-described "grungy kid" in South London. Today, she and her band are headliners. Their bold and energetic melodies, mixed with Florence's haunting and gorgeous voice, feel like a religious experience. It's fitting then that she says of her on-stage wardrobe, "I like things that kind of look like robes, because with the 'Ceremonials' tour, we've been conducting these musical ceremonies on stage so I like to have something that's kind of like the vestments." We are so enamored of her romantic, curated style, and we were floored to have gotten the chance to talk with her backstage at Lollapalooza about her eclectic range of musical influences, favorite fashion era, and even where she got some of the eight rings (we counted!) that dotted her fingers.
