Since 1990, the GLAAD Awards have been honoring those that support and represent the LGBTQ community with awards like Outstanding Film and Outstanding Newspaper Article (and yes, even Outstanding Blog). This year, The Thread was on the red carpet asking the stars like Snooki and Nigel Barker about presenter and icon Madonna (who wore a Boy Scout's uniform to the event after GLAAD's campaign for the Boy Scouts  of America to end its ban on gay scouts and scout leaders) and Vito Russo Award-recipient Anderson Cooper.
