Get P!nk's Edgy Glamour and Rock Star Confidence

If there's anything singer and COVERGIRL P!nk is known for, it's her ability to have fun with her style. Always switching it up with bold, edgy, and fierce elements on the red carpet and beyond, we're in love with this girl's fashion sense. We brought P!nk's makeup artist Kathy Jeung in to the studio to show us how to get the star's signature look.

How to get: P!nk's "The Truth About Love" cover album look - Jeung says the overall feel for the "The Truth About Love" shoot was all about P!nk's porcelain skin, lush lashes, and a bold, wine-stained lip with a combination Film Noir and punk rock elements. To achieve this, Jeung starts with the eyes with a lighter-than-your-skin-tone powder shadow all over the lid and up to the brow bone. She recommends using an eye pencil in black to create a thick line along the upper lash, then a liquid liner closer to the base of the lashes to define and intensify. Curl lashes and then pile on the COVERGIRL Clump Crusher Mascara. For a pop of color on the lips, Jeung starts with a lipliner around the edges and then uses lipstick for a strong layer of color. Her trick for long-lasting lip color? After applying the first coat of lipstick, she blots with a tissue, lightly powders the edges with a powder puff and then reapplies another layer of lip color. To finish off the look, rock a P!nk-inspired outfit with a cozy cropped sweater, rich leather skirt and pointy pumps in red--to echo your attention-grabbing lip shade.

How to get: P!nk's red carpet style - Jeung says P!nk's red carpet style is all about looking fresh and pretty while still maintaining the singer's signature rock edge. To get this look, start with a powder shadow that's lighter than your skin tone all over your lids and brow bone as a base. Next, go over the lid and in to the crease with a darker cream shadow. For intensity and dimension, add another layer of dark powder eyeshadow over the cream shadow. Use a metallic grey color to define the lower lash line, starting with a cream eye pencil and then a powder over that. Swipe two coats of black, no-clump mascara over curled eyelashes and finish off the eyes with black liner on the inner rims. For lips, Jeung suggests a sheer kiss of pink. To wear with your bold new makeup look, try a body conscious black dress with strategic cutouts and pair with statement-making studded heels. Gold spike earrings and an assortment of chunky and thin gold rings will finish the whole thing off right. Lastly, don't forget your nails. P!nk likes to switch it up between nude, black, and blue, but we love black for an edgy feel. COVERGIRL's Outlast Stay Brilliant nail gloss in Black Diamond is our favorite shade--plus, the shiny new formula doesn't need a topcoat!
