That's My Jam: The Search For Our New Favorite Songs

Spring has arrived--bringing with it warmer temperatures, shorter skirts, healthier glows, and most importantly, a fresh crop of spring tunes. These are the songs we can't stop listening to!

"Next to Me" by Emeli Sandé - Big in her native UK, star-on-the-rise Sandé's soul-tinged single is like a dancier version of some of our favorite Adele songs. We triple dog dare you to listen to "Next to Me" just once.

"Step" by Vampire Weekend - The boys from NYC have released two songs from their latest and much-anticipated album. Both "Step" and "Diane Young" have that catchy, eclectic sound we’ve come to love so much.

"Let Me Back In" by Rilo Kiley - Oh, the nostalgia. Rilo Kiley defined the high school experience of a certain blogger ("More Adventurous" anyone?), and the fact that Jenny, Blake, Pierre, and Jason are back together and making still-excellent music is the best news we've heard this year. "Let Me Back In" is a love letter to the City of Angels, but it feels more like a big hug from a band we've adored for a long time.

"Go With It" by MNDR & TOKiMONSTA - We're not sure how to qualify this song--it's not quite dubstep, not quite techno. It blends percussive elements with vocals that remind us of Lykke Li, and frankly, we can't get enough.

"Just Give Me a Reason" by P!nk & Nate Ruess - The high-flying bad girl of pop teams up with the lead singer of fun. For a power ballad that is quickly becoming our go-to sing-in-the-shower tune.

"Heavy Feet" by Local Natives - The LA-based band's latest album, "Hummingbirds," is a great find if you like dreamy indie rock (as we do) and this track is one of the best on the record.

"Mirrors" by Justin Timberlake - In case you hadn't heard, a plucky newcomer named Justin Timberlake released some sort of musical collection of sounds. Jokes aside, we've been unable to get "Mirrors" out of our heads since we first heard it.

"Pompeii" by Bastille - Released in February, "Pompeii" is the London-based band’s fourth single and is the kind of jam you'll want to blast as loud as possible on your commute to work--a great way to start the day.

"Explosions" by Ellie Goulding - The soft-voiced songstress just keeps getting better and better. Off her recent album "Halcyon," "Explosions" builds as only an Ellie Goulding song can.

"Better Dig Two" by The Band Perry - For the ladies and gentleman who love a good country stomper (a la Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats"), there's this song about a gal who loves her man "just a little too much." Let's be honest: way too much.

"I Love It" by Icona Pop feat. Charli XCX - Our love for this song is probably the biggest thing we have in common with Hannah Horvath from "Girls."

"Wild For The Night" by A$AP Rocky feat. Skrillex & Birdy Nam Nam - Get to know this guy's name--the 24-year-old rapper is going to be big.
