Teen Diagnosed With Cancer is Newest COVERGIRL

You may have seen her masterful makeup tutorials on YouTube, or perhaps you recognize her from her appearance on Ellen, but the 13-year-old Talia Castellano has a new gig: COVERGIRL model. DeGeneres revealed that Talia had been chosen as an honorary COVERGIRL and that the beauty company had sent her a makeup table, makeup, and a check for $20,000. After being diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2007, this amazing girl began to experiment with her appearance. During treatment, Castellano lost all her hair, and since she disliked wigs, she decided to express herself through dramatic smoky eyes and nail art. She rose to internet fame when her instructional videos went viral--she has over 250,000 YouTube subscribers and well over 19.5 million video views--and we can't be more inspired.

Now battling two different types of cancer, Castellano has been named as an honorary COVERGIRL! With her indomitable spirit and clear inner strength--never mind her skills with an eyeshadow brush--it was a no-brainer of a decision for the cosmetics company. Be sure to watch Talia's videos (she has a whole bunch of amazing Halloween tutorials that totally deserve several views each!) and check in with Angels for Talia for updates on her condition. The road ahead for this strong young woman is certainly not easy or breezy, but she sure is one beautiful COVERGIRL.
