Thalia Supports "Mi Música, Mi Herencia" Initiative

Award-winning, international recording artist Thalia has teamed up with Pampers to promote their new "Mi Música, Mi Herencia" (My Music, My Heritage) initiative. The kickoff event in Miami celebrated Hispanic culture through music and dance with a special concert for expectant parents. Adults and children were treated to a selection of classic Latin tunes as performed by University of Miami’s Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra.

The stylish Latina superstar had a few wardrobe changes during the event, but our favorite looks have to be the gorgeous red cocktail dress with fluttering sleeves--which she wore with a classic retro ponytail and minimal accessories--and a more casual outfit of jeans and a boatneck, baroque-print top with emerald green sequins. Thalia is known for her on-point red carpet appearances and love of body-flattering cuts with a healthy dose of sparkle, but her always-perfect hair is what really has us crushing. She managed to avoid frizz in Florida of all places!

Through the "Mi Música, Mi Herencia" event, Pampers has committed to making a difference for Latino parents and babies. The initiative pays tribute to the unique role music plays in celebrating and preserving Latino babies' cultural identity. The kickoff on October 25th also saw the debut of the "Mi Música, Mi Herencia” anthem, which Pampers says is "a medley of classic, iconic Spanish-language children's songs adapted with a modern twist, and poised to make all babies move and groove with the beat!" From October 26 to December 14, parents can visit the Pampers Latino Facebook Page and click on the "Mi Música, Mi Herencia" application for a free download of the new song. If your young ones like it, the diaper brand is inviting parents to submit video submissions of their babies dancing to the tune for a chance to appear in a 2013 television commercial for Pampers Latino!
