Catching up with the "Sex and the City" Ladies

Academy of Country Music red carpet highlights

When Sex and the City premiered in 1998, women all over couldn't get enough of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte & Miranda. The series' socially relevant story lines and controversial issues were captivating and undeniably entertaining. Fast-forward more than a decade later and the dynamic foursome impresses us on the big screen with the first SATC film. Now, as everyone anxiously awaits the sequel, Sex and the City 2, we expect nothing short of witty writing, superb chemistry, and of course, to-die-for fashion. What we're most excited to see is the necessary wardrobe changes costume designer Pat Field had to make. After all, these fashionistas are getting older--and strutting around Abu Dhabi. Not exactly twenty somethings decorating the streets of liberal NYC. We caught up with the stylish ladies to chat about the new film and these changes--and this successful franchise that has fascinated so many of us.
