Celebrity Bargain Hunters

Even members of Hollywood's fashion elite- some with their own clothing lines!- swap out high-end designers in favor of affordable finds. In this episode, find out how to indulge in the season's loudest trends (hello, leopard) and get some fall-dressing inspiration for less.

In this episode, our bargain hunting stars are also giving us an education in extending summer trends into fall. The trick is in the accessories. Rachel Bilson shows us how sexy Express' grey and black halter neck romper looks with a black belt and black tights. Nicole Richie proves that even a white, made-for-summer, prairie dress from Topshop can toughen up with opaque black tights, a leather motorcycle jacket and lots and lots of House of Harlow 1960 jewelry, of course.

If you haven't heard, leopard is huge for fall. (The fantastic leopard platform shoes I'm wearing in the beginning of the episode are by Jessica Simpson.) Now, I'm comfortable working an animal print accessory here and there, but I wasn't too sure how I'd feel about a full-on leopard dress. Then I tried the skin-tight, knee-length H&M number that Kelly Osborne wore to a Nylon party. The cut is surprisingly classy actually, and the price makes it an inexpensive way to experiment with a trend and test it out. Kelly added a leather biker vest and a simple black clutch. Not a bad idea.

In other bargain shopping news, we spotted 90210's Jessica Lowndes in a sweet Charlotte Russe denim dress with shoulder ruffles and her co-star AnnaLynne McCord in a simple black tank from Victoria's Secret. I paired the tank with the same braided gold necklace supermodel Selita Ebanks wore from Melania Trump's fashion jewelry collection.

And last, we spotted "The Bachelorette" star Ali Fedotowsky shopping with fiancé, Roberto, in LA in a striped Armani Exchange sweater with ¾ sleeves. The studded shoulders are a little Michael Jackson Thriller-era, a plus in my book. I'm going to get one for sure.
