Miranda Lambert Gets Candid
Country music star and bride-to-be, Miranda Lambert, tells us about her jeans-and-boots style, her feisty Texas roots and her big love for Beyoncé.
Miranda Lambert, who became engaged to country star Blake Shelton in May, used to insist on only performing in jeans and t-shirts. More recently, though, she's been having fun "playing a big girl version of dress up" and walking the red carpet in glam gowns at award shows like the CMT Music Awards where she took home Female Video of the Year for "White Liar."
Maybe it's because of her tough-talking lyrics but of the things that surprises people most, she says, is just how girly she can be. Her favorite color is pink and her style icon is Beyoncé. "She can get totally dived out," says Miranda, "then you'll see her with a t-shirt and jeans and she looks just as glamorous."
