The best Oscar dress knockoffs
The best part of Oscar night is the fashion and the best part of the day after is finding affordable versions of our favorite looks. We spoke with eDressMe.com's CEO, Joanne Stoner, about the hottest trends of the evening AND we got her look-for-less picks for her favorite gowns.
Award season golden girl: Mila Kunis
Throughout this awards season, Mila has continued to stop us in our tracks time and again with her head-turning style. Her lavender chiffon Elie Saab was no different - super flattering with just the right balance of sexy and girly. This look-for-less version has the same waistline banding, a plunging-V neckline and elegant draping in the front.
Another star loving lace was Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett's plum Dolce & Gabbana gown fit her perfectly. This look-for-less pick has a similar romantic feel but with a tight bodice and long sleeves.
Best dressed of the night: Halle Berry
Halle really hit it out of the ballpark with her crystal encrusted Marchesa gown. According to Stoner the look accentuated her best features- her collarbone and her arms. This budget version captures the same glam feel with a dramatic train and sequins instead of crystals.
Best of the brightest: Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer showed off her new svelte figure in an electric tangerine Versace. The affordable option has the same plunging neckline and a flattering banded bodice.
Some stars like Jennifer Lawrence stuck to classic shapes
Jennifer went with a simple, classic tank cut from Calvin Klein in high-impact red. She wasn't the only one- Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and Penelope Cruz also went for the big, bold shade. Our budget-friendly option also creates a beautiful body-con silhouette without being too revealing.
Amy Adams opted for a conservative feel
The new mom looked "sexy conservative" in her beaded L'Wren Scott. She shows off her impressive shape without showing much skin at all. Our beaded off-the-shoulder, look-for-less gown also has a flattering but elegant vibe.
Most "wearable" of the evening: Marisa Tomei
Marisa's fitted navy blue silk gown is a vintage piece by Charles James. As Joanne notes, the sweetheart neckline and hourglass shape is the most figure-friendly of the bunch and the dark blue hue works with most skin tones. The look-for-less option has the same mermaid silhouette and is forgiving through the middle as it's not tight on the body.
