To turban or not to turban?

Style icon Kate Moss rocked a gold Stephen Jones-designed turban atop her gold, goddess-esque gown at last year's Met Gala, kicking off the trend.
Before we get started, let me just say that I realize this is not a new trend. The turban has been around for many years and has even made appearances within the last ten on the runways (anyone remember Prada 2007?).
