British Prime Minister David Cameron challenged the Internet search engine providers Google, Yahoo and Bing after evidence in two recent high-profile child murders in Britain has shown that the killers accessed online child pornography. Cameron said search engines must block results for searches using blacklisted keywords to stop Internet users accessing illegal images.
Eva Longoria wants equal access to higher education for all Latinos. The actress and spoke about the importance of education for the Latino community at the 2013 National Council La Raza conference in New Orleans. Longoria pointed out that college graduation rates for Latinos are at an all-time high but ?[they?re] not keeping up with demographic changes,? she said. College graduation rates for Hispanics have increased seven-fold since 2008, according to the Pew Hispanic Center. Yet the Hispanic population in the U.S. grew 43 percent from 2000 to 2010.
