Amazon Price Check 1. Amazon Price Check

No need to second guess a low-price guarantee with Amazon Price Check. This free app lets you hunt by product name to search its expansive database of brick and mortar stores and e-tailer prices. Less reliable, but very impressive, you can also find a product by scanning its barcode, snapping a picture of it, or even saying the name aloud into your phone. If you find a price that's lower than any listed in the app, you can share it with Amazon Price Check to improve its listings even more. While it doesn't offer coupon offerings like many similar price check apps out there, Amazon's excellent database and search capabilities left us impressed.

GeoQpons 2. Geoqpons

GeoQpons is the most robust coupon app we've seen to date. It takes full advantage of your phones' capabilities, letting you search within the program's rich database of foods, products, and services by zip code or proximity. The app serves up daily deals from the likes of Groupon and Living Social, popular offers, and other discounts organizated by retailer, location, and category. And it's extra satisfying to see all that money you're not spending show up on the program's built-in savings calculator tool.

Key Ring Reward Cards 3. Key Ring Reward Cards

If frequent buyer cards and coupon clippings are bulking up your wallet, this is the app for you! Key Ring Rewards is a convenient way to collect store membership or loyalty cards in one place. When compared with similar apps, we found Key Ring scanned store cards more accurately, making it a snap to take advantage of loyalty programs. The app's tutorial walks you through its simple setup, and the program utilizes your phone's built-in GPS to find deals at businesses in your area. While there were limited coupons provided and you have to sign up for each place before redeeming any rewards, we love that Key Ring Rewards lets you share coupons with friends through emails and on Facebook, and Twitter.

Stampt4. Stampt Loyalty Cards

When it comes to frequent-buyer cards, Stampt has you covered. (That is if you're in San Francisco, Chicago, Cincinnati, or New York - though hopefully it will expand to more cities soon!) The app is easy to sign up for - just input your e-mail and create a password to get started - and it lets you easily organize store rewards programs. We also love how the app uses your phone's built-in GPS to find nearby places with participating programs. You can share the places and deals you find via Stampt on Facebook and Twitter too. While this app may have limited functionality compared to other mobile wallet programs, Stampt has a wide list of participating retailers. And what this app does accomplish, tracking those pesky buy-10-get-1-free type cards, it does well!

Google Shopper5. Google Shopper

Google Shopper promises to make your life (and your wallet) more organized in seconds. The app can store everything from shopping lists to recipe ingredients and it offers up coupons and specials for items you're hoping to purchase. With its seamless Google integration, Shopper makes it simple to e-mail products with your Google account and gives you information on products by searching via a barcode, picture, video or text or voice command. Through a simple search, find reviews and more product information that can help you make an educated purchasing decision. We found the app plenty easy to navigate, though you may have to play with it for a while to get the hang of the more advanced features.

ShopStyle 6. ShopStyle

Never miss a sale again with ShopStyle. This simple program lets you set alerts for when specific items you're pining for go on sale, and it lets you search across a number of stores and shopping sites. You can filter your search by keyword, price, and sale items, and then purchase what you want directly from the retailer (or just e-mail the links of your favorite pieces to yourself for later). While the app is good, we like the more robust online version even better.

CardStar 7. CardStar

Too many mini loyalty cards bulking up your key ring? Card Star helps you store all your reward cards info in one place. Adding cards to the program is easy; simply press the "+" button and select the store or retailer to join (or access your account if you're already a member). Also, CardStar offers back-up services just in case something happens to your mobile device. If you are just looking to eliminate some plastic baggage, this app will help, but other free programs still offer more functionality.

Yipit 8. Yipit

In need of a mani-pedi stat but don't want to pay full price? Then consult Yipit to find daily deals to make special experiences like going to the spa, to dinner with your spouse, or to a weekend destination more affordable. It's easy to use - just register with your email and location and choose the categories that interest you. Then Yipit will suggest deals in and around your area. The app casts a wide net to find deals near and far, but if you're not willing to travel to get them, you may wish it was more accurate in pinpointing your location.
