THREE SIMPLE METHODS



1. Crock Pot


The cool thing about crock-pot recipes is that you can start them up in the morning, go to work, come home, and have a fully cooked meal ready and waiting for you. It's kind of like having your own personal chef... only way cheaper! You can make all kinds of stuff without having to slave over a stove. We looooove our crock pot!

2. Foil Packs


This is a nice, short and sweet way to whip up a meal. Turn on the oven, toss some items on a sheet of foil, wrap it up, and slap the foil-wrapped bundle on a cookie sheet. (Okay, for specifics, follow one of our many foil-pack recipes.) Set a timer, and then go read a chapter of that book you abandoned; watch an episode of the show that's building up on your TiVo; get in a quickie workout... Whatever! The point is that you don't have to babysit your food. You just eat it when it's done. And afterward? NO CLEANUP!

3. Your Trusty Microwave


We dig our microwave all day long, but we love it MOST in the morning. Who wants to start grappling with pots and pans before they even have their coffee? Not us. By mixing up some fat-free egg substitute, light cheeses, and other fun items in a mug, and then nuking for short periods of time, we put the FAST in "breakfast." No scrubbing your skillet before you run off to work. So easy!
