What is sexier than a woman feeling comfortable in her own skin? Answer: A woman feeling comfortable in her own skin at any age. Just weeks before her 65th birthday, actress Helen Mirren posed topless in a bathtub for New York Magazine.

The self-proclaimed "good girl who wants to be the bad girl" bared her breasts for the Juergen Teller shoot to publicize her latest role as a brothel madam of a 1970's Reno w----house in the upcoming movie "Love Ranch", a film directed by her husband Taylor Hackford.

The Oscar-winning star has certainly defied odds in an industry where women are eaten up and spit out as soon as the "next best thing" comes along. Mirren has proven to be the next best thing for more than 40 years and may have just become the "bad girl" she wanted to be.

In the New York Magazine interview, Mirren was asked about using her sexuality to advance her early career, and responded: "The Playboy Mansion, coke, and the rise of all that - Guccione and Hefner always pushed it as liberation, but it didn't seem like that to me. That was women obeying the sexualized form created by men."

"Though maybe we always do that, because we want to be attractive. But I was kind of a trailblazer because I demanded to do it my own way," Mirren added. "I'd say, 'I'm not having it put on me by someone else.' I didn't want to be the sort of puritanical good girl with a little white collar who says, 'Don't shag until you get married'."

In an age when woman aim to look forever young with plastic surgery and "miracle drugs and diets", we have a refreshing example of natural beauty at its best and a Dame who did it her way.
