How to Deal When Your Husband Starts "Nesting"

I never thought I would see the day when my husband began to nest. But Saturday was that day. After working a half day, I asked him to simply open the crib box so I could count the number of crib slats on the crib. I needed to place my order for my wonder bumpers, and I wanted to do it sooner rather than later.

After hearing him fumble the box around for a bit, I came in to count the number of slats, and I discovered he was actually building the crib. At that moment I began thinking…um…who is this man? And what did he do with my husband?

I think in reality my husband has started to nest. I think he realized all the work I put into the room over the last week, and he wanted to do his part. I loved it! He was done in a little while, and not only could I count my railings, but I also could move some things around in the bedroom, which I couldn't do on my own to get the crib into the location it will be staying.

I decided on the opposite corner of the bedroom I originally picked. I figured she really should be further away from the window in the room especially since in the winter, it is always cold by the windows themselves.

But what really surprised me was when he started asking about the wall art I had picked up for the nursery and if I actually had any of it that he could start putting up? Wow! Who are you again?!

What's the the last thing your husband did that drove you wild?
