Have you ever had a bikini wax? They can yield much better, longer-lasting results than shaving your bikini area, but they are also pretty painful. Many waxing technicians advise taking a pain reliever like Advil beforehand, and that does seem to help, but a new product called Bare Ease has another interesting solution.

The Bare Ease pre-bikini wax kit numbs your lady parts before the pain begins. The idea of completely desensitizing your privates kind of freaks us out, but if you're super sensitive this could be an option to help you get through the procedure without the pain. Bare Ease include a topical anesthetic in the form of 4% Lidocaine cream, and a pair of pink latex panties to keep the cream in place and off your clothing. You must apply the cream 30 minutes before your wax appointment for it to work and the numbness should subside after 30 to 60 minutes.

This one-time use kit costs $25. So while it may make your experience more pleasant, waxing will also be more costly. Thankfully it's suggested that you wait around five weeks between waxes.

Do you get bikini waxes? And if so, would you try Bare Ease?
