The Cast of 'Bridesmaids' Visits a Strip Club

Judd Apatow's films usually center on dudes (Superbad, Pineapple Express), but his newest is all about the ladies. Some of our favorite funny women - Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, and The Office's Ellie Kemper - make up the oddball bridal party in the Apatow-produced Bridesmaids, which opened in theaters Friday.

Kemper filled us in on how the cast got into character: "The Friday night before we started filming, we decided to go whole hog on the bridesmaids traditions. We rented a party bus to take us to Hollywood Men, a male strip club. Just about every female member of the cast and crew attended. It's a very special night when you have an unusually sweaty fireman, a scantily-clad Batman, and two dozen screaming ladies in one room. A neighboring table of reveling bachelorettes recognized Kristen and Maya, shouting, 'Hey! They're the SNL girls!' That must have been a pretty cool bachelorette party: They went to Hollywood Men, and got Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph as a bonus."

Did you have a wild bachelorette party?
I didn't have a bachelorette party.
If you consider spa treatments to be "wild," then yes.
I can't remember, but my friends told me the next day that it was pretty wild.
There may have been some drinking and/or male dancers in various states of undress, yes... It was just your average party, and I loved it.
