Would you wear this new swimsuit style?

Even if you have an Aphrodite-like bod (or should I say a Gisele B-like bod), I think we've all been guilty of trying to hide our swimsuit-wearing rears in shorts, skorts, boyfriend boxers, etc on the beach.

Enter the Trunkette--a new category in women's swimsuits for the woman who doesn't want to take her shorts off when she goes in the water. You can get micro shorts or longer jams-esque styles, depending how much you want to conceal.

My thought is that Trunkettes are better than the other alternative--i.e. not going swimming at all or diving in with baggy bottoms that cling to you strangely when you emerge from the pool--but I'm not sure I'm fully convinced. (Mainly because I think you should be loud and proud about any body you've got!)

What do you think? Would you wear Trunkettes at the beach?
