    What guys love about your hair

    It’s not that we want to base our clothing choices or our hairstyles on what guys prefer, but it is interesting to know what they’re thinking sometimes. Women’s Health contributor Matt Bean let us in on the hairstyles that guys like and what, well, kind of confuses them. Watch this episode to see where guys stand on everything from extra-long tresses and updos to pixie cuts and color chameleons.

     Sometimes it seems like guys pay no attention to our hair and other times it seems like they have more opinions than we realize.  Women's Health magazine contributor Matt Bean let us in on what guys like (and don't) about trendy hairstyles.  Here's the short list:

    Dos

    •Extra-long feminine hair is sexy and romantic.

    •Ponytails

    •Pixie cuts if it goes with an edgy personality

    •Loose braids

    • Fresh-out-of-the-shower hair

    Don’ts

    •Reality TV hair (Snooki, for example)

    •Pigtails

    •Haircuts that don’t fit your vibe or your clothing choices

    • Extreme (i.e. dirty) bedhead

      Who gives a rat's what any man, or woman for that matter, thinks about your hair, makeup, clothes etc? People should have enough confidence and comfort to wear what THEY like not what others think they should wear and look like.

        I don't really care and won't matter what guys want on a woman for their hair. What is important is...MY MAN! If he is happy for what I am and the way I look like is the best of them all. If man have preferences on women's look...women does too! Their opinion doesn't really count, everybody has their own to worry about. The guy that is being asked on the video is just saying about what he likes, and that's him.

      I really like my long hair, but, I have 2 young babies and prego with my 3rd, it's always up in a pony tail :-( Kind of takes the novelty away for poor hubby when a t-shirt, jeans and a pony/bun. :-p

      I guess evey ones got their own preferences, I agree with about half of what hes saying. really long hair is a turn off too bulky and when it gets too long it looks to straight not enough wave and personality, it cant be too short though. braids suck. ponytails are lame to traditional

      what you gave was good but to be honset any guy would love a girl who can rock her hairstyle and feel competely postive and confident on her hairstyle. take it as the cherry on top of ice cream. everything has to tie in together.

      ok-so we're supposed to trust the metrosexual's take on woman's hair from the perspective of the every day guy, and who dressed that chick??!!!! I wouldn't ask her for advice on how my retriever's hair should look!!! Blah Blah Blah...........................yuck.
