There are some stars who never change their hairstyle (Jennifer Aniston, we’re thinking of you), and then there are the ladies who continually surprise and inspire us with new cuts and colors and make us want to run to the hair salon to create a new look of our own. In this episode, we chronicle the hair evolution of Drew Barrymore, Michelle Williams, Rihanna, and her BFF Katy Perry. Bride-to-be Drew Barrymore can carry of a bob--even one with black tips-- center-parted waves, or a retro updo. She’s a natural blonde, but she certainly looks fantastic as a red head or an ombre-locked brunette/blonde combo. Michelle Williams has tried romantic curls with side-swept bangs (and looked amazing) but she seems most comfortable in her trademark pixie cut. When it comes to color, she’s all about the blonde whether it be platinum or her latest strawberry hue. Katy Perry, on the other hand, has been searching the Vitamin Water aisle for her color inspiration, but it’s working. The natural dark-blonde certainly knows how to make the most of a saturated peacock blue as she showed us at the GRAMMYs--pink lipstick! Thick eyelashes!-- and her passion for hair variety is something she seems to share with best pal, Rihanna. The singer began her career with a sweet, girly look that got edgier and tougher with each hit song. All of Rihanna's choices have been unexpected and trend-setting but the caramel retro “perm” she sported at the GRAMMYs may be her best look yet. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
